I was eight years old when I first started learning from my father, Roman, how to design and make jewelry.
I will never forget the day he sat me on his lap and asked me if I knew the three most important things about being a jeweler. Well, I was guessing all kinds of things, but all my answers were wrong. He said, “I will tell you what my father taught me at your age: To be a jeweler, you need to know three things; be honest, honest, and more honest.”
Today, Roman Jewelers is known for the designer jewelry brands it carries, craftsmanship in custom designed jewelry pieces, expertise in jewelry repair, and its integrity.
The best part is that my father and I still work side by side every day, and that I am lucky enough to still be learning from him.
