Barany Jewelers is a second-generation business established by my father, Istvan Barany, in 1939. We operated in Cleveland, Brazil, Austria and Hungary before opening our current location in Medina County, a community we have served proudly since 1998.
Since 1939, Istvan Barany’s vision, unique designs and master bench skills have been well known in his native Hungary and the international jewelry industry. His retirement brought me and my husband to the forefront of the business, and we are honored to share with you the benefits of my father’s lifetime of experience as well as our own expertise.
We are Direct Diamond Importers and enjoy the privilege of buying diamonds directly from the diamond cutters in Antwerp, Belgium. Please stop in and tell us about your perfect diamond and we will find it for you in the diamond capital of the world.
We also travel to Idar-Oberstein, Germany, the world’s most famous capital of fine colored gemstones. We hand select genuine colored stones and then set them into our own customized pieces of fine jewelry.
In order to offer the highest quality of watches at substantial savings, we carry our own signature line of fine Swiss watches.
To compliment our own collections, we also carry designer lines and national brands of bridal, colored stone jewelry and watches.
Barany Jewelers is a proud member of RJO, a group of over 800 jewelry stores in America whose huge buying power is reflected in our every day low prices. Our owner, Liz, has been on the RJO Board of Directors since 2001. We are also members of Jewelers of America (JA), the Midwest Jewelers Association, Worldwide Diamond Importers, and Certified Gemstone Importers from Germany, GIA Graduates, and the Antwerp Diamond Group Diamond Grading Certificate Holders.
